Start your next chapter at The Clarendon Royal Community

The Clarendon Royal Community aims to create a bustling retirement community for forward-thinkers, looking to downsize and secure their accommodation alongside access to care provision which can track their changing needs, all under one roof and one service charge. At Age UK Kent Rivers, we believe access to a thriving social community is key to positive ageing, as well as ease of access to everything that people might need, and the Clarendon Royal Community can offer them just that.

Accommodation Suiting a Variety of Needs

The Clarendon Royal Community offers a selection of one-bedroom and two-bedroom independent apartments for people aged over 55 to rent, set across three floors of the well-known historical former hotel on the Thames waterfront. Accommodation on offer suits a variety of needs, ranging from our premium two-bed two-bath Pent House apartment with separate living area, en-suite and separate main bathroom, as well as an open plan kitchen, to our two-bed and one-bed apartments, each with en-suite and separate bathrooms, separate living/dining area and open-plan kitchens. We also offer large single rooms for those less able to be independent, and who want to limit their own accommodation responsibilities to a simple but luxury sleeping space.

In-House Meal Deliveries

Residents will be able to enjoy 5 meals per week as part of their package, which they can choose to eat in the communal restaurant or have delivered to their apartments.

Our Care Reassurance

The Integrated Housing Communities can accept residents without a care need or with care at various levels, offering reassurance that they are being supported by qualified, professional staff and a familiar brand. The inclusive community we aim to maintain within the Clarendon Royal Community will show what we at Age UK Kent Rivers have known for many years – that creating a thriving, mixed-community, where people choose to live, promotes enhanced wellbeing and decreased isolation and loneliness, as well of course, a sense that people are able to Achieve Life’s Fullness.
